Review by hotel critic
Agriturismo Il Ciabot is a hidden gem nestled amidst the tranquil vineyards near Barolo village. The breathtaking views of the grape vineyards from the sun terrace are simply enchanting, offering a perfect backdrop to sip on the complimentary wine during the delightful tasting tour at the winery. The warm welcome with a glass of wine added a personal touch to our stay. The rooms, including the cozy single room with its own tea/coffee maker, were impeccably clean and comfortable. The rustic charm of the interior design blended seamlessly with modern amenities like heating and air conditioning. Our host, a passionate winemaker, took us on a fascinating tour of the winery, sharing his love for the vineyards and wines. The handpicked hazelnut spread and local wines in our room were a delicious souvenir to bring back home. Every morning, the tray of cakes and the hazelnut spread made for a delightful breakfast on the terrace, complete with garden furniture to soak in the serene surroundings. The proximity to the charming Barolo village, combined with the warm hospitality and top-notch amenities, made it a truly memorable stay. I can't wait to return with my fellow art enthusiast friends and explore more of this artistic haven in the heart of Italy. Grazie mille, Il Ciabot, for a truly unforgettable experience!
